Fort Lauderdale, FL-March 15, 2018: Gregg Wallick, CEO and owner of Best Roofing, is celebrating his company’s 40 Year Anniversary. Under Gregg’s leadership, Best Roofing has grown to 310 employees. The anniversary celebration will be held on March 23rd at Best Roofing’s main office in Fort Lauderdale.
The company will trade their hard hats, boots, and blueprints for Barbeque, Beer, and Blue Grass. There will be a live performance by SoSo and each guest will leave with Best Roofing’s famous BBQ “Jake Sauce.”
Gregg attended the University of Miami where he received his MBA in Business Administration. He is a pioneer and innovator when it comes to the roofing industry. He is the third owner of the company since 2001. Best Roofing, founded in 1978, is one of the leading roofing companies in South Florida. Roofing runs in the family when it comes to the Wallick household. Gregg learned roofing from his father, who also owned a roofing company. Some of Best Roofing employees include Gregg’s two sons, Zack (Senior Vice President) and Ian (Senior Construction Manager).
Best Roofing has a unique marketing strategy that separates itself from other roofing companies. The “magic” Best Roofing school bus can be seen from a distance with its bold orange and black colors and “Jake,” the Mascot logo. The field workers leave for work on the Best Roofing bus, inspired by Gregg’s football days where the team would ride together for games. Like a football playbook, Gregg knows there is no “I” in “team.” “At Best Roofing, everyone must play their position, our business model requires teamwork.”
When asked what is Gregg’s finish line, he responded with “Watching people grow, buying homes, witnessing new families and, most importantly, seeing employees succeed.” From captain of the Miami Hurricanes football team to captain of his company, it’s no surprise that Best Roofing is celebrating its 40 year anniversary.
