An Afternoon to Remember: Valentine's Day 2017
Valentine's Day symbolizes love, appreciation and gratitude. Best Roofing celebrated yet another exciting year with the residents at St. John's Nursing Home. Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale on Oakland Park Blvd. Weeks prior to the event, the Best Roofing team collected an assortment of delicious heart-shaped chocolate boxes. The team arrived mid-afternoon to a room filled with cheerful individuals. The moment the team entered the room, faces were beaming with glee. The aura was simultaneously breathtaking. Consequently the loving feeling was undeniable. In addition, soft jazz was playing on their concert style speakers. To begin, the team shared a brief history of themselves. The residents were very receptive and they also began sharing their stories as well. Instantly, laughter filled the room with engaging comical memories. In addition, the residents also spoke about their child-hood. The moment when life experiences were shared the tone changed-one would consider it to be more emotional. The importance was the knowledge one would acquire from an elder. The entire room, was completely captivated by every word spoken. It was truly a magnificent experience for all. Valentine's Day 2017- more than just your average chocolate exchange. Nonetheless, it was a day that will always be remembered!
