Not your typical day here at Best Roofing as we welcome our future team members to our ritual team meeting explaining Best Roofing core values. We put it into their perspective of being in a classroom vs. being in an office setting for more than 40 hours a week. Just when they thought mathematical skills or coloring was boring, we gave them a taste of adult life. Starting off with handing them hard-hats and Best Roofing t-shirts, we then took them on a tour of the warehouse, showing how sheet metal can be turned into gutters, which, they were very fascinated with. When it was time to show the equipment, they couldn’t believe how heavy it was. Adding a little twist to their adventure, we took them on the famous Best Roofing School bus and made a scavenger hunt to look for tools. To wrap up our first day for these future Team members, we allowed them to go to the roof. Which, in fact, was their favorite part of the day. Not only did they get a great view of Ft. Lauderdale, but they witnessed how hot it can be on top of a roof. This experience was one the children brought back to their classroom to share with everyone. Again, a big thanks to our amazing team for putting it all together.
