Gregg Wallick, President & CEO

A second generation professional roofing contractor, Best Roofing’s President and CEO, Gregg Wallick’s knowledge and passion for the industry is the driving force behind Best Roofing’s  outstanding reputation, growth, and success.  From daily project reviews to weekly progress meetings and site inspections, Gregg engages in every project and product which bears the company name; ensuring that every client’s  expectations are met or exceeded.

As a former captain of the Miami Hurricanes football team, Gregg believes in the principle that everything relates back to the fundamentals.  Everyone in the company needs to play their position and do their part for the team to be successful.  The qualities of dreaming, reaching for and achieving success that are fundamental to excelling in sports translate perfectly into the business world and life in general.  Under Gregg’s leadership, Best Roofing has grown from a small roofing company into one of the largest, highly respected commercial roofing companies in South Florida.

Gregg is a University of Miami graduate, holding both his undergraduate degree in business administration as well as his MBA.  Professionally, Gregg has served as the past director of the National Roofing Contractors Association and retains numerous licenses in the fields of general construction and roofing throughout the United States.

Zack Wallick, Account Manager

Zack Wallick has been around roofing for his entire life.  They say that “the apple never falls too far from the tree,” and in Zack’s case that couldn’t be a more accurate statement.  The eldest son of Gregg Wallick, Best Roofing’s President & CEO, Zack attended Florida State University with the desire to start a career in construction.  Zack officially joined Best Roofing in January of 2009, however, he has been working in the roofing industry since he was old enough to climb a ladder, learning the roofing industry from the ground up. From estimating to installation, where he honed in on his commercial roofing expertise, Zack has experience in all phases of the industry. Zack  looks forward to changing the image of the roofing industry with four words that describe his work ethic: trust, reliability, communication and follow-through.

Ed McDonald,  Account Manager

A veteran of the commercial roofing industry, Ed has been actively involved in the roofing industry for over 40 years.  Ed brings a unique perspective and well-rounded knowledge in managing Best Roofing’s  various projects.  From coordinating all phases of construction to acting as a liaison between Best Roofing’s clients and personnel, Ed has his finger on the  pulse of every project from conceptual engineering to completion.

Tyler Thomas, Account Manager

With a 10 year background in hospitality management , Tyler strives to build trust and strong long
term relationships with Best Roofing’s clients.  Tyler is responsible for driving customer loyalty and retention at Best Roofing by focusing on fully serving the needs of all service -related roofing decisions of small, mid-sized and large businesses.  Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.

Jake, Company Mascot & Director of Stress Reduction

Jake is  Best Roofing’s resident  stress reliever. Most days (well, every day) he can be found sleeping on the couch in our conference room, but at the mention of the magical words “Wanna Treat??” he suddenly acts as if he’s ingested a gallon of red bull and races full throttle down the hallway to the treat supply area, conveniently located in the marketing department.  Jake never fails to bring a smile to a client’s face and rescues every day from being normal and mundane.
