President and CEO of Best Roofing, Gregg E. Wallick, has been working with The Continental Group to offer a Roofing 101 class to benefit community managers and maintenance staff. As a member of the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association and former director of the National Roofing Contractor Association, Forensic Roof Specialist Gregg Wallick is “The Go to Guy” for roofing education. His class is designed to encourage employees to continuously grow professionally. The course will cover topics including:
- Identifying different types of roofs and proper steps to maintain them
- Roof inspections and preventive maintenance tips
- Life expectancy of roofs and average cost of repair
- Hurricane preparedness
- Warranties, Roof Inspections and what to ask when hiring a professional roofer
The Roofing 101 Community Association Manager course is approved for 2 continuing education credit hours. Community Association Managers will receive a Certificate of Completion for CAM credit while others will receive a Certificate of Participation. The class is offered monthly at a selection of The Continental Group office locations.
